Portsmouth Historic Dockyard is home to many war ships including HMS Invincible, Ark Royal, and HMS Illustrious. The dockyard also plays host to the famous Mary Rose, and HMS Victory, both of which can be seen in all of their glory in Portsmouth.

However, the dockyard possesses much more than just historic ships. Come and visit Action Stations for a bit of fun for all the family, and take part in activities to measure how you would fare in today's modern Navy!!

When in Portsmouth, the Spinnaker Tower is a must. The tower climbs an amazing 170 meters into the Portsmouth sky allowing you to see up to 23 miles. And for the brave amongst us, the tower hosts the highest glass floor in Europe, letting you see the whole of Gunwharf Quays below.

An adult can climb the tower for just £4.49, while a child costs just £4.00. A small price to pay for an outstanding experience that you will never forget.

Along the coast of Portsmouth lies one of the most unusual Buildings in the country. This man made island lies one mile out to sea from Portsmouth Harbour and has remained unchanged since 1870.

The Spitbank Fort was initially used in the defence of England but now serves as a spectacular party venue for all occasions, ranging from birthdays to weddings. The fort provides spectacular views of the Solent and would be ideal for your next celebration.
